Azzedine Ounahi marked his return to action with a goal as Girona were held to a 3-3 draw by Real Oviedo in La Liga.
The Moroccan midfielder, who had missed the previous match against Barcelona, came off the bench in the 59th minute and struck an equaliser in the 83rd with a precise shot from the edge of the box. His performance reignited Girona’s attack after they had fallen 2-0 behind.

Real Oviedo went ahead through Federico Viñas’ first-half penalty before Salomón Rondón doubled the lead with a header early in the second half. Girona captain Cristhian Stuani then converted a penalty to pull one back, setting the stage for Ounahi’s impact.
Stuani added another penalty in stoppage time to give Girona a 3-2 lead, but Oviedo’s David Carmo scored in the eighth minute of added time to secure a draw and deny Míchel’s side all three points.

Despite the disappointment, Ounahi’s return offered encouragement for Girona. Girona remain bottom of the table ahead of their Copa del Rey tie against Constància next Tuesday, followed by a league visit to Getafe on Friday.
