Rabat – West Ham United is reportedly interested in signing Moroccan international Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven during the upcoming winter transfer window.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has caught the attention of several top European clubs thanks to his standout performances this season.
Saibari has scored 10 goals in just 16 matches, including hat-tricks against Feyenoord and Ajax, and two goals in the Champions League against Napoli and Bayer Leverkusen.
His sharp movement, powerful shooting, and ability to control the midfield have made him one of PSV’s most valuable players.
West Ham is not alone in the race to sign the Moroccan. AC Milan, Marseille, and Benfica are also tracking him, while Premier League sides like Aston Villa, Leeds, Fulham, Brighton, and Everton are monitoring his situation closely.
But West Ham’s financial limitations may force them to sell players before making major signings, which could complicate their pursuit of the creative midfielder from PSV Eindhoven.
Saibari’s current contract with PSV runs until 2029, and his market value is rising quickly. With his international experience, 17 caps and 5 goals for Morocco, and consistent club form, he’s becoming one of the most standout midfielders in Europe.
Saibari was born in Terrassa, Spain; he grew up in Belgium and began his youth career with clubs like Beerschot and Genk before joining PSV in 2022.
He plays mainly as a central or attacking midfielder but can also operate on the wing.
