Marrakech – Paris Saint-Germain star fullback Achraf Hakimi is among 25 nominees for the GLOBE SOCCER Best Men’s Player Award. The list, which was published today, features players like Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappe, and Ousmane Dembele.
The Moroccan international is one of two African players nominated for the award, with Egypt’s Mohamed Salah also featuring.
The 25-nominee list notes a heavy PSG presence, with eight players from the French capital’s Champions League winners featuring: Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes, Fabián Ruiz, Vitinha, and Gianluigi Donnarumma (now Manchester City).

After a historic quadruple-winning campaign, the Parisian club is logically nominated for the Best Men’s Club award. Luis Enrique and Luis Campos were also nominated for the Best Coach and the Best Sporting Director awards, respectively.
FC Barcelona’s Women’s section, Barcelona Femeni, dominated the Best Women’s Player nominations with six players: Aitana Bonmati, Alexia Putellas, Caroline Graham-Hansen, Claudia Pina, Patri Guijarro, and Ewa Pajor. Arsenal, winners of the 2025 UEFA Women’s Champions League, are also heavily represented with five players.
The 16th GLOBE SOCCER Awards Ceremony, which will also present the winners of the 2024-2025 end-of-season La Liga awards, will be held on December 28 in Dubai.
