Rabat – Police in Casablanca arrested four individuals on Saturday evening in connection with a case involving damage to private property and the possession of bladed weapons in circumstances that posed a risk to public safety.
According to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), police services received a report concerning a group that had damaged vehicles parked on a public street using bladed weapons.
The incident reportedly followed a dispute between the suspects and a night guard, which quickly escalated and resulted in material damage to several cars.
Following initial investigations and field inquiries, the suspects were identified and apprehended.
They were placed in police custody as part of an ongoing judicial investigation, carried out under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, with the aim of determining the full circumstances and background of the case.
Morocco continues to strengthen security measures in urban neighborhoods, deploying increased patrols and rapid-response units to deter acts of vandalism and violence in public spaces.
Authorities regularly rely on surveillance, community reporting mechanisms, and coordinated field investigations to identify those responsible for such incidents and ensure their swift apprehension.
