Rabat – Tetra Pak, Swedish multinational food packaging and processing company, has announced the appointment of Haithem Debbiche as the new Managing Director for the Maghreb and West Africa region. The company shared the news in an official statement.
“With a strong background in leadership and business development, Haithem will lead our continued efforts to drive growth, strengthen our partnerships, and deliver sustainable value across the region,” the company said.
Debbiche has been working as Managing Director for West Africa since 2024. He will now take over the Maghreb region as well, succeeding Laurent Rodier. With this new role, he becomes responsible for the entire Maghreb and West Africa region.
A graduate of Paris-Sorbonne University, Debbiche has spent 22 years at Tetra Pak. During his career, he has held several important positions and contributed to the growth of the company’s operations and partnerships across both regions.
With nearly 20 years of experience working in the Maghreb, he has developed strong expertise and a deep understanding of the region’s market and its specific needs.
Reacting to his appointment, Debbiche said: “I am honored by this nomination and happy to reconnect with our partners and teams in the Maghreb. The Maghreb and West Africa represent markets with strong potential.”
He added that his priority is “to continue developing innovative and safe food solutions for our customers.”

Tetra Pak has been operating in food processing and packaging solutions for more than 70 years. The company provides equipment, processing technologies, and packaging systems to clients around the world.
