Rabat – Cloudflare on Friday experienced a second major service disruption in less than a month.
Users worldwide were met with “500 internal server error” messages.
The incident is similar to an outage experienced in November, when a Cloudflare outage disrupted and affected major online platforms, including news outlets.
Cloudflare said in its status website that the incident has been resolved, adding that its tech teams are continuing to monitor the results.
“Customers using the Dashboard / Cloudflare APIs are impacted as requests might fail and/or errors may be displayed,” the website said.
In a recent update, Cloudflare said it is investigating reports of a “large number of empty pages when using the list API on a Workers KV namespace.”
It is also investigating an increased level of errors for customers running the Workers script.
“We are working to analyse and mitigate this problem. More updates to follow shortly,” the website says.
Cloudflare is a security service that works to improve the activities and performance of websites, protecting them from cyber attacks.
The company provides security products for businesses and individuals, including DNS and content delivery network services, among others, serving as a shield between websites and the internet.
Their products prevent crashes, malicious traffic, hacking attempts, as well as bots that seek to break into sites.
