Rabat, Morocco

Rabat – To help fans and visitors move around Rabat during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025), local transport services have introduced special tram and bus passes at reduced prices.

These passes are available through the “Tram Mobile” app and are designed to make travel easier and more affordable during the tournament.

There are several ticket options now available:

  • 24-hour Tram+Bus Pass for 30 MAD ($3)
  • 7-day Tram+Bus Pass for 130 MAD ($13)
  • Full Tournament Pass (Dec 21 – Jan 18) for 540 MAD ($54)
  • Tram-only 7-day Pass for 80 MAD ($8)
  • Tram-only 24-hour Pass for 20 MAD ($2)
  • Single Tram Ticket for 7 MAD ($0.70)
  • Return Bus Ticket for 5.50 MAD ($0.55)

These passes allow unlimited travel within their time limits and are valid across Rabat’s tram and bus network. Fans can use them to reach stadiums like Prince Moulay Abdellah, Al Barid Stadium, and Moulay Hassan Stadium, as well as hotels, fan zones, and city attractions.

The tickets are easy to buy through the app’s “store” section, where users can select their pass, add it to their cart, and pay directly. Each ticket is digital and stored in the “my tickets” section for quick access.

This initiative supports smooth transport during AFCON and helps reduce traffic pressure. With thousands of fans expected in Rabat, the discounted passes offer a practical way to enjoy the tournament and explore the city.
