Rabat – Moroccans poured into the streets across the country on Thursday evening to celebrate the national team’s Arab Cup title, following a dramatic and hard-fought victory over Jordan that was only decided after extra time.

The final delivered a gripping contest that extended beyond 120 minutes, including two intense extra halves that tested the stamina and focus of both teams. Throughout the match, tension remained high as Morocco and Jordan exchanged attacks and defensive stands, keeping supporters glued to their screens until the very last whistle.

Once the referee brought the match to an end, celebrations erupted almost instantly. Fans waved Moroccan flags from car windows and balconies, while the sound of horns echoed through city centers. Chants, songs, and cheers filled the air as supporters celebrated a victory that many described as well deserved after a demanding and closely contested final.

In Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier, and numerous other large and small cities, supporters streamed out of cafés, restaurants, and public viewing areas to take over streets and squares. Major avenues turned into scenes of spontaneous celebration, with crowds gathering to share the moment, exchange congratulations, and capture the historic night on their phones.
