Rabat – Abdellatif Hammouchi, the General Director of  National Security and Territorial Surveillance (DGSN-DGST), announced an exceptional financial bonus to all employees of the national police across Morocco.

A statement from DGSN said the financial grant covers all employees of national security across various central departments and regional commands nationwide.

“This initiative falls within the framework of the financial and professional incentive system adopted by the General Directorate of National Security to encourage its staff to make greater efforts and sacrifices in serving national security and citizens,” DGSN said.

The press release emphasized that the grant is also part of DGSN’s appreciation for the police’s continued contributions and commitment to public security and public order.

DGSN emphasized that the measures strengthen the range of social services, offering them an “integrated professional environment that enables them to partially fulfill their professional duties.”

In recent years, DGSN has allocated an annual bonus to all police personnel to reinforce their social support.

According to the DGSN annual report, police focus on strengthening crime-fighting structures as part of the implementation of the intermediate security strategy for crime control.

The annual report also cited a cooperation agreement between the National Authority for Integrity and DGSN-DGST to strengthen corruption prevention and control.

Police also benefited from 4,126 training sessions on human rights, as well as other workshops to strengthen human rights culture and humanize detention conditions.

Police also announced a 10% decline in violent crime indicators in 2025.

Threatened thefts decreased by 24%, thefts with violence by 6%, and burglaries by around 12%.

DGSN also reported a record high clearance rate reaching 95% for all crimes this year.
