Rabat – Authorities in Kenitra Province confirmed that all families evacuated during the recent turbulent weather episode have now returned home.
Officials described the operation as orderly and conducted under safe conditions.
According to a statement from the provincial administration, the decision to authorize the return came only after teams on the ground verified that safety standards were fully met.
Technical services inspected affected areas and assessed risks before giving the green light for residents to go back.
The evacuations followed severe weather elevated to a state of disaster, disrupting daily life in several localities.
Faced with rising waters and unstable conditions, authorities opted for precaution and relocated residents to protect lives.
In its statement, the provincial administration thanked residents for their sense of responsibility.
Many families complied with instructions despite the anxiety and uncertainty that often accompany such measures. Their cooperation, officials said, helped ensure the success of the operation.
Local authorities also pledged continued support for affected households. Public services remain mobilized to assist families and to address any remaining damage until normal life fully resumes in the impacted areas.
The operation cautions continual awareness about the growing frequency of extreme weather events and the need for preparedness at the local level.
In Kenitra, attention now turns to recovery, repair, and support for communities that endured several difficult days before conditions improved.
