Rabat – Raja Casablanca kept their lead at the top of Morocco’s Botola Pro after a solid 2-0 win over Olympique Safi at Mohammed V Stadium.

The Greens struck early when defender Abdellah Khafifi headed home in the 11th minute, setting the tone for a dominant display.

Later in the second half, Mohamed Bouleksout sealed the result with a goal in the 76th minute, confirming Raja’s superiority on the night.

Olympique Safi’s task became even harder after Sofiane El Mouden was sent off, leaving them to defend with ten men against constant waves of Raja pressure.

The visitors struggled to create chances and were pinned back for most of the match. With this win, Raja now sits at the top of the table with 30 points, while Safi remains at the bottom with just 7 points.

Mas vs Dcheira

Elsewhere, Maghreb Fes climbed to second place after defeating Olympique Dcheira 2-0 away from home.

Sofiane Benjdida opened the scoring in the ninth minute, and Souleymane Allouch doubled the lead midway through the second half.

The win pushed Maghreb Fes to 27 points, keeping them close behind Raja in the title race. Dcheira, meanwhile, stays mid-table with 16 points.

AS FAR vs Chabab Zemamra

In another key match, AS FAR dropped points in a goalless draw against Chabab Zemamra. Despite creating some dangerous opportunities, neither side managed to break the deadlock.

AS FAR’s night got worse when Jamal Chamakh was sent off in the 60th minute, forcing them to finish with ten men. The draw leaves AS FAR in third place on 26 points, four behind Raja, while Zemamra sits 13th with 13 points.

Botola standing

The standings after 15 rounds show Raja leading with 30 points, Maghreb Fes second on 27, and FAR third on 26.

Wydad Casablanca and CODM Meknes also sit on 26 points but with fewer matches played. RSB Berkane follows with 21 points.

Tonight, two more fixtures are on the schedule:

RSB Berkane face Difaa El Jadida at 10 PM, while Union Touarga host Wydad Casablanca at the same time.

These matches could shake up the table further, especially with Wydad chasing the top spots.
