The Morocco U17 national team continued their strong start to the UNAF U17 Tournament with an impressive 3–0 win over Algeria U17 national team in Benghazi.

After already beating Tunisia by 2–0 earlier in the week, Morocco now make it two wins from two, without conceding, putting themselves in a strong early position in the standings.

Coming into this match with confidence from their opening win, Morocco once again looked organized and comfortable on the ball.

Morocco were efficient when it mattered, taking their chances and building a solid lead that put them in control of the game.

After going ahead, they stayed compact, limited Algeria’s opportunities, and avoided unnecessary risks. Even when Algeria tried to push forward, clear chances were hard to create.

A third goal deep into stoppage time added extra gloss to the performance and fully reflected Morocco’s dominance on the night.

A strong position in the tournament

With six points from two matches, Morocco have put themselves in a very comfortable spot early in the competition.

The tournament, held in Benghazi, features five teams—Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia—in a round-robin format. The top three sides qualify for the U-17 AFCON 2026.

Although Morocco are already qualified as hosts, these matches remain important to build rhythm, test players, and establish dominance at the regional level.

Two matches, two wins, no goals conceded—and now five scored—it’s the kind of start every team hopes for.

With matches against Egypt and Libya still to come, the Atlas Cubs are now firmly in control of their path in this tournament.
