Saudi Clubs Target Imran Louza as Watford Star Prioritizes England

Rabat – Moroccan international Imran Louza has attracted interest from several Saudi clubs ahead of the next transfer window, following his standout performances with Watford this season.

According to Africa Foot, Watford has placed a $15 million price tag on the midfielder. This valuation has reportedly drawn interest from Premier League sides like Everton and Fulham, who have since pulled out of the race as they consider the asking price too high.

Saudi clubs Al Ittihad and Al Qadsiah FC are reportedly ready to pay the asking price set by Watford, meeting the club’s financial demands in full, according to the same source.

Despite the interest, the 24-year-old is hesitant to move to the Gulf, as he prefers to stay in the Premier League, to keep playing at a high level and secure his starting spot with the Moroccan national team.

The midfielder has made 38 appearances for Watford so far this season, scoring seven times and providing nine assists.

He joined Watford in June 2021 from the French club Nantes for a fee of around $10 million. Since his arrival, the midfielder has become a regular starter and a key part of the team’s lineup.

Watford is currently positioned 12th in the Championship for the 2025/2026 season. After 42 matches, the team has a balanced record of 14 wins, 15 draws, and 13 losses, totaling 57 points.

While his contract is long, Louza’s own wish to stay in England will be a key factor. The summer transfer window will soon reveal if he stays with the club or moves on.
