The Brazilian media has openly acknowledged the threat posed by Achraf Hakimi, labeling him Morocco’s lethal weapon ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In a recent feature, Brazilian sports outlet Jogada10 described the Paris Saint-Germain player as one of the most decisive players capable of troubling even the biggest footballing nations, including Brazil.

As anticipation builds for the upcoming World Cup, Brazilian analysts are already studying Morocco’s strengths. Jogada10 admits that the Atlas Lions possess a dangerous combination of discipline, experience, and individual brilliance, with Hakimi standing out as the primary attacking outlet.
The outlet describes him as “versatile, competent, skillful and decisive,” stressing his ability to shift the balance of a match in seconds. His explosive pace and forward runs from the right flank make him a constant threat, something Brazil is clearly wary of.
Alongside Hakimi, they also identified goalkeeper Yassine Bounou as a key pillar, reinforcing the idea that Morocco’s strength lies in both defensive solidity and attacking efficiency.
