Rabat – The 50th edition of the Hassan II Trophy and the 29th edition of the Lalla Meryem Cup will take place simultaneously from 18 to 24 May at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat.

It’s an important week for Moroccan golf as it marks half a century of the Hassan II Trophy.

The Trophy is part of the PGA Tour Champions, bringing legends of the game to the iconic Red Course.

At the same time, the Lalla Meryem Cup is staged on the Blue Course as part of the Ladies European Tour, showing off the elite of women’s golf.

The event is organized by the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation and the Hassan II Trophy Association.

And the good news is, entry is free for the public all week.

Full-week schedule

The tournament is a full golf week.

  • Monday 18 May: Official practice rounds
  • Tuesday 19 May: Pro-Am Hassan II Trophy + Challenge Exhibition (18:00, Green Course)
  • Wednesday 20 May:
  • PGA Tour Champions Pro-Am (Red Course)
  • Lalla Meryem Pro-Am (Blue Course)
  • Hassan II Kids Cup by First Tee (youth competition)
  • Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 May: Official competition rounds for both tournaments

The Lalla Meryem Cup has a prize fund of €450,000, attracting top international women golfers.

On the men’s side, the Hassan II Trophy continues its legacy as one of the most respected senior events in global golf.

Fifty editions later, the Hassan II Trophy is still growing and alongside it, the Lalla Meryem Cup keeps pushing women’s golf forward. This tradition keeps Morocco firmly on the international golf map.

For one week, the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam turns into a global meeting point for elite players, legends, and emerging talent.
