Fez – As thousands of Moroccan students prepare to choose their future universities, a new national ranking is offering a clearer picture of which higher education institutions are most valued by employers.
Campus Mag has released the 2026 edition of its “Top School in Morocco” ranking, measuring how recruiters and companies view engineering and business schools across the country.
The ranking is now considered one of the main references for students seeking schools with strong reputations in the job market.
More than 100 human resources directors, recruiters, and business executives took part in the survey.
Participants were asked to name the schools they believe produce the most attractive and respected graduates in Morocco.
The ranking includes both Moroccan institutions and international schools operating in the country.
This year’s edition introduced a major change in methodology.
Instead of limiting each category to only three winners, the ranking now uses a “Top Tier” system that allows up to 15 schools per category.
The new format aims to better reflect the small differences between institutions that are regularly praised by employers.
Among private engineering schools, ISGA, École Polytechnique Agadir–Universiapolis, and EMSI secured places in the highest tier.
In the public engineering category, Al Akhawayn University’s School of Science and Engineering, École Centrale Casablanca, and EMI led the ranking.
Business schools also maintained strong competition.
ESCA École de Management, ISGA, and Rabat Business School–UIR topped the private management category, while Al Akhawayn University’s School of Business Administration, ENCG Settat, and ISCAE dominated the public management rankings.
The study also highlighted the growing presence of international institutions in Morocco. French schools ESSEC Business School and TBS Education were ranked among the leading international schools operating in the country.
The ranking reflects the increasing importance Moroccan families and students place on employability and professional opportunities when choosing universities.
With competition in the labor market becoming stronger, recruiter perception is now playing a central role in shaping the reputation of higher education institutions.
For many future graduates, the 2026 ranking offers more than a list of prestigious schools.
It provides insight into the institutions that companies believe are best preparing students for the demands of Morocco’s evolving economy.
