Rabat – Brazilian forward Endrick is set to arrive in Madrid this Monday, after requesting permission to start sessions at Valdebebas next Wednesday, according to reports from Geglobo.
The 19-year-old will return to Real Madrid this summer following his loan spell with the French club Lyon.
The young forward will make his final appearance for Lyon this Sunday against RC Lens, before travelling to Madrid to begin his training sessions.
Endrick joined Lyon on a half-season loan in January 2026 to secure more playing time and gain experience in a top European league.
The deal was uniquely structured to encourage his development. Since finding his form in France, he has successfully revitalized his career and is now ready to return to Madrid with a much higher status.
During his time in France, Endrick recorded eight goals and eight assists in 20 appearances across all competitions. His contributions included a hat-trick against Metz in January and a goal in a 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in April.
According to the same source, Endrick wants to train at Valdebebas to stay in top shape for the World Cup after being named to Carlo Ancelotti’s preliminary squad.
The FIFA World Cup 2026, hosted by the US, Mexico, and Canada, is set to begin on June 11, with Brazil scheduled to face Morocco in their opening match two days later.
Instead of joining the first-team sessions led by Alvaro Arbeloa during their final La Liga matches, the Brazilian player will follow a personalized training program.
While Real Madrid officials plan to keep him for next season, his final role will depend on the vision of the team’s next manager.
