Rabat – Moroccan international goalkeeper Yassine Bounou won the awarded the Best Save of round 32 in Saudi Professional League.
The round’s top honors was awarded after the dangerous save from the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, in the tough match that ended in a positive draw.
The Al-Hilal goalkeeper secured this latest distinction by outshining formidable rivals, including veteran Marcelo Grohe (Al-Shabab) and Marcin Bulka (Neom SC).
Bonou’s individual statistics this season tell the story of a world-class campaign, over the course of 34 appearances, where he demonstrated remarkable consistency and defensive leadership.
Throughout these fixtures, he has maintained elite standards, conceding just 31 goals despite the high-pressure nature of the Saudi Professional League. Even more impressive has been his ability to shut out the opposition entirely. He has successfully registered 21 clean sheets, a feat that highlights his critical role in Al-Hilal’s defensive structure.
Bounou’s defensive dominance this season was widely recognized for a spectacular display of reflexes that proved his team’s recent performance. With big international games coming up, Bounou is proving he is a great shape for the Moroccan national team
