The Morocco women’s national team has started a closed training camp from June 1 to June 9, 2026, as part of its preparations for the upcoming 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), as the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has announced.
Head coach Jorge Vilda Rodriguez has called up 31 players for the camp as the Atlas Lionesses step up their preparations for the continental tournament, which will take place in Morocco from July 25 to August 16, 2026.

The June gathering is expected to help the squad improve its tactical work, physical condition, and team chemistry ahead of a busy summer schedule.
Morocco are also scheduled to face Cameroon in an international friendly on June 5 in Beauvais, France, as part of their build-up to WAFCON 2026.
The Atlas Lionesses already know their opponents for the tournament’s group stage. Morocco have been drawn in Group A alongside Algeria, Senegal, and Kenya.
