Morocco have completed their preparations for Saturday’s 2026 World Cup clash against Brazil, with the Atlas Lions holding their final training session ahead of the Group C opener.
The session took place on Friday at Pingry School in New Jersey, where head coach Mohamed Ouahbi and his staff put the finishing touches on their plans for one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament’s opening round.
All players took part in the training session, including Marouane Saâdane and Amine Sebbar, who were called up to replace injured duo Nayef Aguerd and Abde Ezzalzouli.
The coaching staff focused heavily on tactical work during the final practice, with particular attention given to positioning, high pressing and building attacks from the back.
A positive atmosphere reportedly surrounded the squad throughout the session, with players showing determination and focus ahead of their first match of the competition.
The match between Morocco and Brazil will take place on Saturday at MetLife Stadium in the New York metropolitan area, with kickoff scheduled for 11:00 p.m. Moroccan time.
FIFA has appointed Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčić to officiate the Group C encounter between the Atlas Lions and Brazil.
