Morocco midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi has been named among the most promising young players at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Spanish newspaper AS highlighting the 18-year-old as one of the talents expected to shine in the tournament.

Rabat – Morocco midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi has been named among the most promising young players at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Spanish newspaper AS highlighting the 18-year-old as one of the talents expected to shine in the tournament.

According to the Spanish magazine, the World Cup provides the perfect stage for a new generation of players to establish themselves among football’s elite. AS notably included in a list of 12 young stars it believes will make a major impact on world football in the coming years.

The Lille midfielder, whose market value is estimated at €50 million, has impressed since choosing to represent Morocco. His performances in recent warm-up matches and in the Atlas Lions’ 1-1 draw with Brazil have strengthened his reputation as one of the country’s brightest prospects.

AS praised Bouaddi’s tactical maturity and described his arrival as a major boost for the Moroccan national team.

The newspaper’s list also featured Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, Real Madrid duo Jude Bellingham and Arda Güler, Paris Saint-Germain pair Désiré Doué and João Neves, Argentina international Nico Paz, Ivory Coast defender Sannadiomande, Brazil’s Endrick and Ryan, as well as Manchester City youngsters Nico O’Reilly and Rayan Cherki.

Bouaddi’s inclusion alongside some of the biggest young names in world football highlights the growing expectations surrounding the Moroccan midfielder, who is already considered one of the future leaders of the Atlas Lions.

At just 18 years old, the Lille star will look to continue his rise and confirm his status as one of the sensations of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
