The Moroccan Embassy in Washington has released a guide to help Moroccan fans traveling to Atlanta for the national team’s final Group C match against Haiti at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The match will take place on June 24 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the embassy’s guide aims to ensure supporters enjoy a smooth and organized experience on match day.
According to the guide, Moroccan fans arriving at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport are advised to head to a dedicated information desk for Moroccan supporters located near FIFA’s office inside the airport. The desk will provide guidance on transportation and directions around the city and to the stadium.
For supporters using public transport, the embassy recommends taking the Red Line from the airport to Five Points Station before switching to the Green Line toward Vine City Station, which is located just a short walk from Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The guide also highlights Atlanta’s public transportation network, including buses and metro services. A single ride costs $2.50, while a daily pass worth $9 offers unlimited travel throughout the city. Bus route MARTA 36 is also mentioned as one of the options available to supporters.
Fans planning to use taxis or ride-sharing services are advised to book early, as heavy traffic is expected around the stadium on match day.
The embassy further announced that a consular assistance office will be available at the Georgia World Congress Center to provide support and guidance to Moroccan supporters during their stay.
