Rabat – The Moroccan national team will complete its preparations for the decisive Group C clash against Haiti with a final training session in Atlanta this evening ahead of tomorrow’s match.
The Atlas Lions arrived in the city earlier this week and held their first training session at Kennesaw State University shortly after reaching Atlanta, with all players taking part. The coaching staff used the session to focus on recovery and begin preparations for the final group-stage encounter.
Today, Morocco will return to the university’s facilities for a last training session scheduled for 5:30 p.m. local time (10:30 p.m. Moroccan time). The session will provide head coach Mohamed Ouahbi with a final opportunity to fine-tune his starting lineup and tactical plans before the meeting with Haiti.
Group C table
Morocco heads into the final round of Group C with four points, level with Brazil, which tops the group on goal difference. Scotland sits third with three points, while Haiti is bottom without a point.
The Atlas Lions boosted their qualification hopes after taking four points from their opening two matches, drawing 1-1 with Brazil before beating Scotland 1- 0. A positive result against Haiti could secure first place in the group, depending on the outcome of the other match between Brazil and Scotland.
With qualification to the round of 32 within reach, Morocco enters Wednesday’s encounter determined to finish the group stage on a high and continue its promising campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
