Rabat – Spain and Uruguay are facing off tonight in a crucial Group H match at 1 a.m. Moroccan time at the Guadalajara Stadium in Mexico.
The World Cup group also includes Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia, with qualification to the knockout stage still at stake for Uruguay.
Opta Analyst predicts Spain to win the World Cup game, with a 62.4% chance of victory, compared to only 15.7% for Uruguay.
beIN Sports Network is airing the game, alongside Fox and Telemundo.
Uruguay is expected to deploy several stars in the heavyweight match against Spain, including F. Muslera, Caceres, Sanabria, Varela, Olivera, Araujo, Bentancur, Ugarte, Valverde, Canobbio, and Vinas.
Spain is expected to rely on its massive human resources, including its youth warriors Lamine Yamal and Pedri, in addition to other strategic players, such as Laporte, Cubarsi, Simon, Porro, Olmo, Williams, and Oyarzabal.
Spain currently tops Group H with four points, with one win over Saudi Arabia and a draw against Cabo Verde.Â
Uruguay, however, finished its two previous games with draws, finishing 1-1 against Saudi Arabia and 2-2 against Cabo Verde.
Opta’s supercomputer gives Uruguay only a 36.4% chance of progressing to the next round.
Spain, however, has already secured qualification and is given an 84.7% chance of topping Group H.
At the same time, Cabo Verde and Saudi Arabia will play their last game tonight, with several websites predicting the Blue Sharks to win over the Saudi Green Falcons.
