The heatwave begins on Sunday, when temperatures between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius are forecast in Beni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Khouribga, Errachidia, Taroudant, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Settat, Kalaat Sraghna, Marrakech, Rehamna, Figuig, Jerada, Youssoufia, Khenifra, and Taounate.
Higher temperatures ranging from 40 to 44 degrees are expected the same day in Zagora, Tata, Es-Smara, Assa-Zag, Aousserd, Boujdour, Oued Ed-Dahab, and Tinghir.
