Rabat – Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund, welcomed the arrival of Moroccan international Ismael Saibari, describing him as a valuable addition for the club.
In an interview with Bayern Munich’s official website, Freund praised Saibari’s achievements and development, saying that Ismael Saibari won three consecutive Eredivisie titles with PSV Eindhoven and gained valuable experience in the UEFA Champions League.
“He is also demonstrating at the FIFA World Cup the level of quality and impact he can bring to any team competing at the highest level,” he said.
Freund also emphasized the 25-year-old’s flexibility and attacking attributes, stressing the Moroccan will strengthen Bayern’s squad.
The Austrian tactician highlighted the attacking threat and competitive mentality Saibari brings to the table as Bayern Munich looks to add depth and creative options to its offensive line.
“He is a versatile player capable of performing in several positions,” Freund said. “He plays with energy, confidence, and bravery, while possessing the ambition and desire to succeed that define Bayern Munich.”
Saibari joins the German champions from PSV Eindhoven after signing a contract that runs until June 30, 2031. The Moroccan midfielder will wear the No. 34 shirt as he begins the next chapter of his career in Munich.
