On a one-year contract, Brentford completed the signing of English superstar Callum Wilson to boost the Bees’ attacking line for the upcoming season.
The well-known football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the move with his signature phrase: “Here we go.” The 34-year-old former England player chose to stay in the English Premier League after the end of his contract with West Ham.
This signing is part of a busy week for Brentford’s new project under manager Thomas Frank.
The Bees are actively rebuilding their attacking options to prepare for a highly competitive Premier League campaign.
Wilson brings great experience and proven goal-scoring ability to the squad. He has scored 88 Premier League goals throughout his career, and Brentford expects the veteran striker to provide vital leadership and reliable depth up front alongside newly signed forward Igor Thiago.
With 88 Premier League goals already in his locker, will Wilson reach the historic 100-goal milestone in a Brentford shirt?
