Casablanca – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has clarified the player registration timetable for the 2026-27 season, ending recent speculation over registration deadlines for clubs competing in its continental competitions.
Reports had suggested that July 25 was the deadline for clubs to submit their player lists for CAF competitions, sparking debate among club officials and supporters, particularly among Moroccan clubs preparing for the upcoming continental campaign.
According to CAF’s official timetable, a second player registration period has been scheduled for clubs wishing to register new signings ahead of the second preliminary round of the continental competitions. This registration window will run from August 16 to September 30.
Meanwhile, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has announced the schedule for the summer transfer window in domestic competitions, with the first registration and transfer period set to run from August 1 to August 15.
