Rabat – Al Hilal is considering selling Moroccan international Yassine Bono during the current transfer window, according to Saudi sports journalist Mohamed Al-Bukairy. The experienced goalkeeper has reportedly attracted interest from several clubs in England, Spain, and Turkey following his outstanding performances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Although Bono’s contract with Al Hilal runs until 2028, the Saudi club are reportedly willing to listen to offers for the 35-year-old if the right proposal arrives in the coming weeks.
According to Al-Bukairy, Al Hilal’s management believe Bono’s value has risen significantly after his 2026 World Cup campaign with Morocco. The club is now reportedly examining several offers from European sides interested in signing the Atlas Lions goalkeeper.
The report also claims that Al Hilal plans to reinvest the money from Bono’s potential transfer to strengthen the squad. Mohammed Al-Owais is expected to become the club’s first-choice goalkeeper after recently returning to the team.
Bono once again established himself among the world’s top goalkeepers during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He played a crucial role in Morocco’s run to the quarter-finals, producing several decisive saves and leading one of the tournament’s best defensive units. His performances have further increased his reputation, making him one of the most sought-after goalkeepers on the transfer market.
No agreement has been reached with any club so far, but negotiations are expected to intensify in the coming weeks as European interest in the Moroccan goalkeeper continues to grow.
