Rabat – England and Argentina have announced their starting lineups for Wednesday’s 2026 World Cup semifinal at Atlanta Stadium.
England head coach Thomas Tuchel has made three changes to the side that defeated Norway 2-1 after extra time in the quarterfinals.
Reece James returns at right-back, while Djed Spence replaces the injured Nico O’Reilly on the left. Morgan Rogers is the surprise choice on the right wing, with Noni Madueke dropping to the bench.

Declan Rice is fit enough to start after struggling with illness during the quarterfinal against Norway.
Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford are both among England’s substitutes, while captain Kane leads the attack as the Three Lions seek their first World Cup final appearance since winning the tournament in 1966.
Argentina starting XI
Emiliano Martinez; Nahuel Molina, Cristian Romero, Lisandro Martinez, Nicolas Tagliafico; Giuliano Simeone, Leandro Paredes, Alexis Mac Allister, Enzo Fernandez; Lionel Messi, Julian Alvarez.
Lionel Scaloni has made a notable tactical change by leaving Rodrigo De Paul on the bench and selecting Giuliano Simeone on the right side.
Paredes returns to the midfield alongside Mac Allister and Fernandez, while Messi partners Alvarez in attack.
Argentina are attempting to reach a second consecutive World Cup final and become the first nation to successfully defend the title since Brazil in 1962.
England, meanwhile, are looking to reach only the second men’s World Cup final in their history. The winner will meet Spain on Sunday after La Roja defeated France 2-0 in the first semifinal.
