Rabat – Thomas Tuchel believes the biggest challenge ahead of England’s World Cup third-place playoff against France has nothing to do with tactics. Instead, he explained, the challenge has to do with motivating players after the heartbreak of a semifinal defeat.
Every four years, two teams leave the World Cup semifinals with disappointment, one final match and no chance of lifting the trophy.
As England and France prepare to compete for third place instead of the title they were dreaming of, Thomas Tuchel believes no player wants to experience this scenario.
“No player wants to play this match. The French don’t want to play it either,” Tuchel said.
