Casablanca – RS Berkane have confirmed the departure of Tunisian head coach Mouine Chaabani after he accepted the opportunity to become the new head coach of the Tunisian national team.

In a statement, the club revealed that Chaabani, whose contract was due to run until June 30, 2027, had already been approached twice by the Tunisian Football Federation before agreeing to take the job this time.

RS Berkane said it understood the coach’s decision and agreed to release him.

The club commended his achievements during his two-and-a-half-year spell with the Orange club. Under his leadership, RS Berkane described his tenure as one of the most successful periods in its history.
