Rabat – Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha is spending part of his summer holiday in Morocco following the conclusion of a demanding season for club and country.
Images shared on Monday showed the Portugal international enjoying his time in Marrakech during the offseason.
Vitinha’s visit adds his name to the growing list of international football stars who have selected Morocco as a holiday destination, attracted by the country’s tourism offerings, climate and relative proximity to Europe.
The 26-year-old, whose full name is Vítor Machado Ferreira, plays as a midfielder for PSG and the Portuguese national team. He joined the French champions from FC Porto in June 2022 after also spending a season on loan with English club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Vitinha has since developed into an important figure in PSG’s midfield, known for his passing, positioning and ability to control the rhythm of matches.
His stay in Morocco provides a period of rest before he returns to Paris to begin preparations for the 2026–2027 season.
