While Ajax were once considered well-positioned to land the Moroccan international, interest from the Dutch club has completely cooled. Between acquiring Brandt and being priced out by Girona’s financial demands, Ajax have pulled out of the bidding.
The Spanish outlet reports that Girona are in no rush to sell the 26-year-old player unless their financial demands are met.
