Rabat- Raja Casablanca have officially cancelled the friendly match that was scheduled to take place against Spanish side Valencia at the end of this week.
According to Elbotola, the game was called off due to visa-related issues that prevented the planned arrangements from going ahead.
Following the cancellation, Raja’s management has decided to organize a 10-day training camp in Agadir, starting next Monday. The camp will form an important part of the club’s preparations for the upcoming season and will allow the coaching staff to assess the squad and continue building team cohesion.
A number of the club’s new signings are expected to join the camp, along with several players from the youth team. Their inclusion could provide the technical staff with additional options while also allowing promising academy players to compete for places in the first-team squad.
Meanwhile, the futures of Matias, El Amouri, Sakho and Khavi Chraibi remain uncertain. Their participation in the training camp will depend on ongoing negotiations between Raja and several clubs interested in signing them, either on loan or on permanent transfers during the current transfer window.
The cancellation of the Valencia friendly means Raja will now have to adjust its pre-season schedule, with the Agadir camp expected to play a key role in preparing the team physically and tactically for the new campaign.
