Rabat – Moroccan clubs AS FAR and Raja Club Athletic have discovered their potential opponents in the second preliminary round of the 2026-2027 CAF Confederation Cup following Thursday’s draw.
AS FAR, which received a bye to the second preliminary round, will face the winner of the first-round tie between Chad’s ESPSI and Ivory Coast’s Korhogo. The military club will begin its continental campaign at this stage as it looks to book a place in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Raja, meanwhile, will take on the winner of the first preliminary-round clash between Guinea-Bissau’s União Desportiva Internacional de Bissau and Nigeria’s El-Kanemi Warriors.
The Green Eagles will learn their final opponent once the first-round matches are completed, with the Moroccan side also targeting qualification for the competition’s group stage.
Both AS FAR and Raja are among Morocco’s representatives in this season’s CAF Confederation Cup and will be hoping to advance deep into Africa’s second-tier club competition.
