Casablanca– Ayyoub Bouaddi’s potential move to Manchester City has entered another decisive phase, with a new round of talks scheduled between the Premier League club and Lille.
According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs are now at the final stages of negotiations, with the upcoming discussions aimed at completing the agreement.
The latest development comes after weeks of reports linking the 18-year-old Moroccan international with a move to City.
Earlier reports indicated that Lille value Bouaddi at around €100 million, while personal terms with the player had already been agreed.
Romano added that Bouaddi is now waiting for the green light to travel for his medical tests and complete the move.
This represents a further step beyond the previous reports of advanced negotiations, although the transfer has yet to be officially completed.
Bouaddi emerged as one of Morocco’s standout players during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, helping the Atlas Lions reach the quarterfinals and attracting significant interest from European clubs.
Manchester City have been looking to strengthen their midfield following Rodri’s departure to Barcelona and have already signed Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest this summer.
With another round of talks now scheduled, Bouaddi’s long-awaited move to the Premier League appears to be approaching its final stages.
