Rabat – Abu Dhabi is preparing to host the inaugural edition of Ai Everything Abu Dhabi on October 6-7, bringing together AI companies, technology developers, investors, government institutions and researchers from more than 60 countries.
Held at the ADNEC Centre, the two-day event will examine developments in artificial intelligence and their application across government and industry, with more than 400 AI infrastructure companies, model developers, startups and AI unicorns expected to participate, according to the organisers.
The event, hosted by the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE) and organized by inD, will feature more than 180 speakers and over 200 investors, whose combined assets under management exceed $91 billion.
Among the speakers are Arthur Mensch, co-founder and CEO of Mistral AI, and Marc Raibert, founder of Boston Dynamics. Their participation will focus on the development of sovereign AI, emerging partnerships and the growing use of artificial intelligence in industrial applications.
Abu Dhabi’s AI-driven government agenda
Government applications of AI will form a central part of the event, with more than 50 UAE government entities taking part.
DGE is using the event to present Abu Dhabi’s ongoing efforts to integrate artificial intelligence into public administration. The department said more than 100 AI use cases are already operational across the emirate, while more than 40 government entities have been brought together within a unified AI-driven ecosystem.
Abu Dhabi aims to become what DGE describes as the world’s first AI-native government by 2027. The initiative is backed by a $3.54 billion investment program focused on AI-enabled public services and economic development.
Wesam Lootah, Director General of GovDigital at DGE, said the emirate’s approach is focused on applying AI to public services rather than treating the technology solely as a research or investment field.
“Abu Dhabi will become the world’s first AI-native government next year,” Lootah said, pointing to the government’s existing AI applications as evidence of its ongoing transformation.
The program will extend beyond government technology to examine how AI is being deployed in sectors including healthcare, banking, energy and education.
The exhibition will feature companies working across the AI infrastructure chain, from cloud computing and semiconductors to enterprise software and data technologies. International technology companies including AWS, Alibaba, Cloud, Dell, Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, Nokia and Snowflake are among the exhibitors listed by the organizers.
Abu Dhabi-based technology group G42 will also participate, presenting its work on AI infrastructure and what it describes as the development of AI-native societies.
Solutions+, a Mubadala company and the event’s Global Partner, will showcase approaches to integrating AI into business operations and public services.
UAE AI research in focus
The event will also highlight research being developed in the UAE, particularly through the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), the applied research arm of Abu Dhabi’s Advanced Technology Research Council.
TII is set to present 23 demonstrations from nine research centers, covering areas including energy, materials, marine and maritime infrastructure, aerospace and autonomous systems.
One of the projects is GeoAI, a machine-learning model designed to map subsurface geology in northern UAE and support mineral exploration.
TII will also showcase its Falcon family of large language models, including Falcon-H1 Arabic, which was developed using Arabic-language data and a specialised model architecture.
Global AI companies and startups
The inaugural event will bring together a large group of international AI companies, including Mistral AI and ElevenLabs.
Mistral AI, which is participating in the event for the first time, will address questions surrounding control and autonomy as AI systems become increasingly capable.
ElevenLabs, known for its voice and audio AI technologies, will present ElevenAgents, a platform for developing conversational AI applications, alongside ElevenCreative, which combines audio technology with image and video generation.
Across its main summit and specialized conferences, Ai Everything Abu Dhabi will explore issues ranging from AI governance and autonomous systems to agentic AI, computing infrastructure and responsible deployment.
The event comes as governments and businesses increasingly move beyond experimentation with artificial intelligence toward integrating AI into public services, industrial processes and commercial operations.
