Casablanca – Ai Everything Abu Dhabi 2026 will bring together more than 400 AI-first companies and over 180 speakers from more than 70 countries as the event focuses on practical uses of artificial intelligence across government, scientific research and critical infrastructure.
The two-day Expo and Summit will take place from October 6-7 at ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. Organized by inD, the global organizer of GITEX events, the event will be hosted by the Department of Government Enablement (DGE), with Solutions+, a Mubadala company serving as Global Partner.
The event will bring together policymakers, investors, business executives and technology companies, featuring examples ranging from a digital worker projected to save US$3 million a year to AI systems designed to support public services, scientific research and industrial maintenance. The companies behind these applications include Microsoft, VDURA and IFS.
Microsoft brings AI into Abu Dhabi
Microsoft is presenting AI as more than a tool for improving efficiency. The company describes its emerging model as the Frontier Firm, where employees work alongside AI and agents that can transform workflows and support decision-making.
In Abu Dhabi, Microsoft 365 Copilot is being rolled out to 35,000 government employees through a partnership with the Abu Dhabi Government. The program forms part of the emirate’s ambition to become the world’s first AI-native government by 2027.
The program is designed to help employees make better-informed decisions, streamline processes and spend more time on higher-value public services. It also includes security measures, responsible AI practices and in-country data residency.
Amr Kamel, Managing Director of Microsoft UAE, said the shift is moving from AI being treated as a tool toward AI becoming a teammate. He said AI agents can reason, plan and act across workflows while human judgment and accountability remain central.
Microsoft will showcase Copilot experiences, Azure AI, cybersecurity technologies and solutions from its partner ecosystem during the event. Visitors will also see examples of how AI can save employees time, support decisions, strengthen security and redesign processes.
VDURA targets data needs in scientific research
VDURA will use Ai Everything Abu Dhabi to introduce its Data Platform V12 to the Middle East market for the first time. The company describes the platform as high-performance data storage infrastructure designed for AI factories and neoclouds.
Built for GPU clouds and AI factories, V12 automatically places data on the appropriate storage system. The goal is to help operators keep computing capacity productive. The platform was recently named AI Data Management Solution of the Year in the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards.
VDURA is also working with New Mexico State University, a Carnegie R1 institution, where researchers in agriculture, aerospace, and biomedicine needed to run large-scale simulations and AI model training on a reliable shared platform.
The university deploys more than US$141 million in annual research spending. VDURA’s deployment, which went live in August 2026, combines NVMe flash storage with high-capacity hard drives in one system.
According to the company, the setup provides flash-level responsiveness for active research data while storing larger datasets at a lower cost than an all-flash system.
Ken Claffey, CEO of VDURA, said the focus of AI infrastructure is shifting from training to inference at scale. He said persistent context and petabyte-scale retrieval-augmented generation, or RAG, data will become increasingly important as agentic AI and long-context applications expand.
IFS focuses on AI for industrial operations
IFS will showcase its Industrial AI software for asset-intensive industries including ports, utilities, aerospace and defense, oil and gas, manufacturing and energy.
The company is focusing on the gap between identifying an asset at risk and actually carrying out the repair. That process still requires arranging repairs, finding parts, and scheduling technicians.
IFS Regional Vice President for AI in Asia Pacific, Japan, the Middle East and Africa, Suliman Gaouda said industries are commissioning assets faster than they are building the systems needed to operate them. He also pointed to the importance of capturing asset registers and maintenance regimes when new assets are handed over.
IFS cites Kodiak Gas Services as one example of the financial impact of its technology. Its Material Replenisher agent is projected to generate US$3 million in annual savings and save 90,000 technician hours.
The event will also feature demonstrations of IFS Loops Digital Workers, which can execute tasks across business systems. IFS Nexus Black Resolve will show how faults can be captured through images and voice before AI provides a diagnosis and guided repair steps. IFS Operational Intelligence will demonstrate how degrading equipment can be identified and used to generate a work request.

The New Intelligence Summit will also bring ministers, government leaders and industry executives together to discuss AI adoption, education, skills and organizational readiness.
Mariam Al Musharrekh, Director General of DGE, will discuss Abu Dhabi’s experience in building an AI-ready government workforce.Ebrahim Al Hajri, a professor and President of Khalifa University of Science and Technology, will examine how education must evolve alongside intelligent systems while retaining human judgment and intuition.
ADNOC’s Sean Spicer will join a panel on Frontier AI Enterprise alongside AWS and Oracle executives. ADNOC’s ENERGYai, described as the world’s first agentic AI solution for the energy sector, will also feature in discussions about AI and energy. Built by AIQ, a venture jointly formed by Presight and ADNOC Group, the system will be discussed by AIQ CEO Dennis Jol and Amal Abdulrahim, Assistant Undersecretary and Chief AI and Innovation Officer at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.
Ai Everything Abu Dhabi will take place on October 6 and 7, bringing together public-sector, research, and industrial applications as companies and government leaders examine how AI can be deployed at scale.
