Rabat – Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has added another Boeing 737-8 to its fleet, bringing the number of aircraft delivered by aviation asset manager Aviation Capital Group (ACG) this year to six.
ACG announced the latest delivery on Sunday, describing the aircraft as the final Boeing 737-8 scheduled for delivery to the Moroccan national carrier in 2026.
The six aircraft arrived over a six-month period, marking a rapid expansion of Royal Air Maroc’s Boeing 737-8 fleet.
“With this latest delivery, ACG marks the addition of the sixth 737-8 to Royal Air Maroc’s fleet in six months, a fantastic achievement by everyone involved,” said Carter A. White, ACG’s Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
“We are proud to support the airline’s ongoing fleet renewal and expansion plans and wish the Royal Air Maroc team every success with these new aircraft,” A.White added.
The new aircraft comes as Royal Air Maroc expands its fleet to support the growth of its passenger network. The carrier has pursued a broader fleet expansion strategy as it seeks to increase capacity and strengthen connections between Morocco and international destinations.
ACG, founded in 1989, specializes in aircraft leasing, asset management, and aviation financing. As of June 30, the company had about 500 aircraft under its ownership, management, or lease portfolio. Those aircraft serve nearly 85 airlines across around 50 countries.
The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan’s Tokyo Century Corporation.
The latest delivery adds further capacity to Royal Air Maroc’s fleet and reinforces its partnership with ACG as the Moroccan carrier moves ahead with its expansion plans.
