Agadir – Morocco’s Airports of Morocco, formerly known as the National Airports Office (ONDA), has appointed Nabil Massali to lead its Air Navigation Division as the country prepares for increased air traffic under its Airports 2030 strategy.
The airport operator announced the appointment today, citing Massali’s previous experience as Director of Civil Aviation at the Ministry of Transport and Logistics.
In that role, Massali gained experience in aviation safety, regulatory oversight, and the development of the civil aviation sector. He also developed an understanding of international standards and the mechanisms used to supervise air navigation services, according to the institution.
As head of the Air Navigation Division, Massali will work to improve operational performance and support the division’s development in line with international standards and future air traffic requirements.
The appointment comes as Morocco prepares to expand its airport infrastructure and services through the Airports 2030 strategy. The expected growth in passenger traffic and the expansion of international air services will increase the need for efficient and reliable air navigation systems.
