Fez, – Policemen arrested, on Tuesday in Fez, two ex-convicts and seized 2.24 kg of cannabis resin and a sum of money, sources from Fez police prefecture said on Wednesday.
On the basis of pertinent information, security services succeeded in arresting the first culprit at the Hay El Hassani neighborhood carrying the illegal substance, they said.
The second alleged drug dealer was arrested in the Ben Souda neighborhood with the said money.
The suspects were remanded in custody to conduct the probe, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, and will be brought to justice afterwards, the same sources added.
