There is ‘Very Good Collaboration’ Between Morocco, UNFCCC in Preparations for COP22

Skhirat – The is a very good collaboration and a great spirit of partnership between Morocco and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as part of preparations for the COP22, President of the Conference, Salaheddine Mezouar, announced Thursday in Skhirat (Rabat outskirts).

Progress made in preparations for the COP 22 is promising, Mezouar told MAP following his meeting with Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, Patricia Espinosa, held on the sidelines of the informal consultations in preparation for the 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP22) of the UNFCCC.

Mezouar said that he also tackled with the UN official the role of civil society, non-state actors and their integration in a structured framework at this global event, slated for November 7-18 in Marrakech.
