Rabat – Today’s Olympic football fixtures feature two decisive games, including the semi-final match between Egypt and France.

The game will take place today at 8 p.m. Moroccan time at the Groupama Stadium in Lyon, with the two squads determined to advance to the final.

Fans seeking to watch the match can do so through USA Network or the beIN network; streaming enthusiasts can meanwhile watch the match through Fubo.

Many prediction websites and football observers are expecting France’s Les Bleus to win today’s game 2-0.

“France are mirroring Les Bleus’ UEFA Euro 2024 run with a mean defense that is yet to concede so expect things to remain tight here,” CBS Sports said.

The football-focused website Goal also views France’s squad as the stronger and more prepared side for tonight’s clash, with the team having won all four of their matches without conceding a goal.

“Thierry Henry’s team are growing stronger as the competition intensifies,” Goal said in its preview of tonight’s game.

Egypt are “likely delighted to have made it this far,” the website wrote, adding that “they needed penalties to squeeze past Paraguay, but the French will be their toughest opponents to date.”

In addition to expecting France to win tonight’s semifinal, many fans and prediction websites even further expect the host nation to go on to win the final and lift the trophy.

“France have also been formidable throughout the tournament,” Goal added, noting that Les Bleus appear to be champions in the making “and have enough quality to brush off Egypt and get to the final in their own backyard.”

Today’s Olympic football schedule also features Morocco’s Atlas Lions who will face off against Spain in a much-anticipated semi-final at 5 pm. Moroccan time.

Many reports have suggested that the Spanish Olympic team is determined to take revenge for their senior team, which lost to Morocco’s Atlas Lions in the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
