Marrakesh – Saturday night witnessed the grand finale of the WeCasablanca Festival 2024 at the bustling United Nations Square.

The heart of Casablanca pulsed with energy as an enthusiastic crowd gathered to celebrate an evening brimming with emotions and musical discoveries.

The evening kicked off in style with an electrifying performance by DJ MKA.

From the first beats, this talented DJ captivated the audience, providing an exhilarating preview of what was to come.

His infectious mixes turned the square into an open-air dance floor, setting the stage for an unforgettable night.

Next, the cultural heritage of Casablanca took center stage with a celebration of Aita, the traditional art deeply rooted in the region.

The audience was treated to an authentic and moving performance by Siham El Mesfiouia and Said Senhaji, iconic figures of Aita.

Their powerful voices and poetic interpretations transported the crowd on a journey through time, with each note and word telling a story rich in emotion.

The vibrant atmosphere at the Square was palpable. Spectators from all walks of life were united by a shared love for music and culture.

Mohamed Jouahri, General Director of SDL Casa Event & Animation, shared with the press that the 5th edition of the festival aimed to diversify musical genres for the audience by showcasing artists from various generations.

Emphasizing that this cultural music event serves as a generational bridge, Jouahri noted that the WeCasablanca Festival 2024 showcases the full spectrum of the country’s musical heritage.

He added that the festival meets the musical tastes and expectations of Casablanca’s audience across both stages.

The final night of the WeCasablanca Festival 2024 not only celebrated Morocco’s rich musical heritage but also underscored the importance of preserving and passing on these traditions to future generations.
