Rabat – Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui is fit and set to feature in Manchester United’s crucial Europa League semifinal second leg against Athletic Bilbao this Thursday evening at Old Trafford.

Rested during United’s recent Premier League clash with Brentford, which ended in a 4-3 defeat, the Atlas Lion was back in training with the squad on Wednesday.

The club confirmed his availability, noting that the right-back was simply given a break ahead of the decisive European showdown. “Noussair Mazraoui is available, after being rested during the loss to Brentford,” the club noted, reassuring fans ahead of one of the season’s most decisive matches.

Since arriving at Old Trafford, Mazraoui has quickly cemented his place as a key player. Initially brought in by Erik ten Hag and now an essential component under new manager Ruben Amorim, the Moroccan has shown adaptability and consistency, playing across several defensive and midfield roles.

Manchester United go into the match with a comfortable 3-0 advantage from the first leg in Spain, thanks to a dominant performance that puts them just one step away from the Europa League final. While the Premier League campaign has been rocky, the Red Devils are determined not to end the season empty-handed.

Tonight’s clash kicks off at 8:00 p.m. Moroccan time, and while United look to finish the job at home, they are wary of a spirited response from Athletic Bilbao. The Basque side will be desperate to overturn the deficit and book their own place in the final.

For Mazraoui, the match presents another opportunity to shine on a major European stage, and for Moroccan fans, another proud moment to witness one of their own making an impact at the highest level.
