Fez – On Friday, Nador’s National Security coordinated with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST) to arrest a suspect charged for alleged involvement in illegal immigration, human trafficking and forging official Schengen visa documents.
A security source from Moroccan authorities reported that the suspect operates within a criminal network that has a history in forging administrative documents required to obtain European visas.
The suspect was found in possession of forged documents, commercial records, work certificates, a set of stamps and fake marriage contracts, in addition to receipts for cash transfers, the same source added.
Additionally, the National Security database revealed that the suspect has search warrants issued by the National Judicial Police Division and the Royal Gendarmerie Services of Settat, on suspicion of his involvement in cases related to counterfeiting, as well as selling and distributing drugs.
A judicial investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public court, in order to identify all those involved in committing these criminal acts.
