Mohammedia – Pfizer has appointed Ouardia Djoudjai to oversee its business operations in North Africa, according to a statement from the pharmaceutical giant.
The statement elaborated on Djoudjai’s rich portfolio, which includes over 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. It also commended her successful and impactful sales and marketing strategies across oncology, rare diseases, vaccines, and internal medicine in the Gulf and emerging markets.“
Since joining Pfizer in 2010, Djoudjai has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility in marketing, brand management, and category leadership. Most recently, she served as Business Lead of Vaccine & Oncology for Gulf countries, where her strategic vision delivered robust business performance and strengthened team engagement,” the statement said.
Her new role as North Africa Cluster Lead places her at the center of Pfizer’s regional strategy. With more than 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Djoudjai has built a track record of designing and executing impactful sales and marketing strategies.
Her career spans therapeutic areas such as oncology, vaccines, internal medicine, and rare diseases, with results that include double-digit growth across several markets. Pfizer’s decision to place her at the head of its North Africa operations reflects both her achievements and the company’s confidence in her ability to navigate the region’s healthcare challenges.
Her leadership is not limited to business performance. Djoudjai has also been a vocal advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace.
For the past three years, she led Pfizer’s DEI council in the Gulf and co-founded the MENA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion council, initiatives aimed at building inclusive workplaces and promoting fair leadership opportunities. By bringing this perspective into her new role, she is expected to shape a culture of collaboration and inclusivity within the North Africa cluster.

Beyond her professional achievements, Djoudjai has also invested in continuous learning. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree, an executive certification in leading strategic growth, and is currently pursuing an MBA at Liverpool University.
