Khorfakkan have completed the signing of Moroccan international Selim Amallah on a free transfer after his spell with Spanish side Real Valladolid.

Amallah, who featured 25 times for Valladolid last season – starting 18 games, scoring three goals and providing one assist – joins the Emirati side on a reported two-year deal worth around $1.2 million per season.

The 28-year-old midfielder previously played for Valencia on loan and made his name at Standard Liège before becoming one of Morocco’s standout performers during their historic 2022 World Cup run in Qatar.

He joins compatriots Tarik Tissoudali and Akram Nakash at Khorfakkan.
