Rahimi’s long road
Soufiane Rahimi first joined the Atlas Lions in 2021, after impressing with his performances for Raja Casablanca. Although he was not always a regular starter, he continued to work hard and take every opportunity that came his way.
His commitment, energy, and goals in important matches won the trust of his coaches over the years. His first World Cup goal against Haiti was the latest reward for a player who never stopped fighting to prove himself for Morocco.
The same year, he joined Al Ain FC in the United Arab Emirates, where he continued to impress with his goals and performances.
At international level, Rahimi has represented the Morocco national football team and was a key figure for Morocco’s Olympic team, helping the Atlas Lions secure a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics while finishing as the tournament’s top scorer.
